It is talk about the background after World War II, especially to focus on the effect of Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I believe that it is a policy event between two countries, but it is really have some negative influence for some Japanese who immigrate to America. Roosevelt’s want to affected more than 110,000 people of Japanese descent, two- thirds of whom were native- born citizens of the United States. In February 1942, the president Roosevelt as a commander-in-chief make a decision to relocating all persons of Japanese ancestry, both citizens and aliens, inland, outside of the Pacific military zone. Actually it is a way to protect person of Japanese descent from harm at the hands of Americans who had strong anti Japanese attitudes. For these part of Japanese, they were always removed to desolate locales. For example, Tule Lake, California; Minidoka, Idaho; Manzanar, California and etc. They have limited opportunities to get a job. If somebody want to conflict this new rules, they will be sent to special camps.
Although after the war, some persons of Japanese allow to go back their home in American. But there were only 30 percent returned to their place used to lived in American, and more than 80 percent returned to their hometown.
After many year, some of people want to find an answer why American government want to do that for Japanese. If it is a way to protect Japanese, why the gun still focus on inside of the centre that Japanese people lived, and never turned outside.
The hurt has been have in Japanese hurt, although American provided cash payment to each person who was interned.
In my mind, I feel sad when I read this background about this article. First of all, I used to watch the film about the Pearl Harbor event. It is really a tragedy. A lot of people dead in this event and some of them did not know what happened. If I think about it in this side, I really could not understand why Japan government want to do that and why we want to war happened if we know it is very bad. Second, I feel the rule for Japanese ancestry, maybe they are very painful. For peaceful person, they just want to living with their family without accidents. And for some children, they have a lot of painful memory during that time.
